*God Releasing Outrageous Wonders

March 2020

What will 2020 look like?

We believe the Lord is saying in this season that He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. My soul is my mind (what I think), my will (what I want/desire) and my emotions (what I feel). In restoring our souls, the Good Shepherd restores our thinking and our knowing when we spend time with Him. We begin to understand things in a new way, His way. The Word that was once no more than words on a page begins to have meaning. We begin to hear and understand and know the voice of our Shepherd. We hear His call, and we respond, following His leading, even if it takes us through the valley of the shadow of death.

It was an interesting start to the new year as we were asked to speak on "Suffering Well". Pastors Josiah and Marlaina Centeno assembled a group of people from New Jersey and Pennsylvania with prophetic purpose. We were in awe how the Lord ministered to areas of brokenness and hurt. He is our Healer.

Transforming Your Business

We are extremely excited to have been accepted by Chester and Betsy Kylstra to attend the Transforming Your Business Leader Training Workshop this month! As RTF (Restoring The Foundations) has brought transformation to individuals, we believe this is another power tool to transform businesses, organizations and churches.

As the coronavirus spreads around the world, we are wondering how it will impact the global gathering scheduled for July at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. A senior International Olympic Committee member said recently that if it proves too dangerous to hold the Olympics, organizers are more likely to cancel it altogether than to postpone or move it. Until we hear otherwise, we are still preparing to go. With 11,091 athletes representing 206 nations expected to compete, it is an incredible opportunity to share the Gospel. If you would like to sow into this missions trip, please visit our website.

Upcoming Events!

We will be the speakers at the Advance School of Missions Retreat in Brogue, Pa in April.

November 2019

Do You Need Help?

Are you struggling with depression? Are you up all night wrestling with anxiety? Has pornography captured you in bondage? Jesus offers us freedom and to set at liberty those who are oppressed Luke 4:18. RTF is a tool that can help you gain your freedom and restore your peace.

Have you heard of Restoring The Foundations?
Restoring The Foundations is a ministry to people who are desiring to walk closer to God and desiring to fulfill their God-given destiny. RTF is a sanctification ministry, a healing ministry and a deliverance ministry all rolled into one. RTF appropriates all that Jesus accomplished on the Cross to make it active and vital in a person's life. It truly is the "Full Gospel."
Restoring the Foundations Approach
Restoring the Foundations uses an integrated approach that addresses the following four interrelated foundational areas that affect each of us.

Sins of the Fathers & Resulting Curses
This problem is rooted in the second commandment (Ex. 20:3-6), in which God visits “the iniquities of the fathers upon the children up to the third and fourth generations.” God requires us to confess our ancestors’ sin as well as our own (Lev. 26:40). We focus on the confession of sin (I John 1:9) and the appropriation of Christ’s finished work on the Cross to break curses (Gal. 3:13) and recover “legal ground” from the enemy (Col. 2:14).

Ungodly Beliefs
All of us have formed ungodly beliefs from life’s circumstances, including ones we have inherited from our ancestors (i.e., our parents and grandparents). These Ungodly Beliefs need to be changed into Godly Beliefs. This can be accomplished through a procedure of repentance and renewing your mind (Rom. 12:2).

Soul/Spirit Hurts
Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18). He heals the hurts of our soul and spirit as we “Wait upon the Lord” with “Listening Prayer”. He shows us what He wants to heal, and then He heals what He has shown.

Demonic Oppression
After we have “co-labored with Christ” to bring freedom and healing to the first three ministry areas in your life, the various demonic strongholds oppressing you can be disassembled and destroyed (Mark 16:17).

We have had the privilege to watch lives transformed and people set free from oppression through the RTF Ministry. Please contact us if you would like further information or to schedule ministry.

A Time To Give Thanks!

We are extremely grateful for what the Lord has done and what He continues to do with your help!

We spent 3 days in September with Mike & Susie Dempsey strategizing for relief efforts for the Bahamas. We worked on solar system possibilities for not only the Bahamas but to support the aquaponics systems set up in India by our church family, Pastor Cyril Petit in France. It’s exciting to see how all the pieces are slowly coming together.

In October, we supported Calvin Greiner on the King of Glory Prayer Walk in Philadelphia. Our friends, David and Jenn Suh joined us on this commission as well.
The City of Philadelphia is a strategic city in God’s plan for this nation. William Penn carried and released God’s heart and strategy for this nation, and it was implemented in this city many years ago.

Prophetic Prayer was the theme of Mike's teaching at the Encounter Night at In the Light Ministries in Philadelphia. It was a powerful night of prayer and worship.

Exciting News!

Lisa will be speaking on Praying the Word at In the Light in Philly on December 4th. The address is 191 West Hunting Park Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19140

Fall 2019

The past 15 months have been the most challenging time we have had to face for Grow In Faith. As most of you know, we lost many significant people to us through death and unexpected circumstances that caused much pain and heartache. Mike also underwent shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and bicep. His surgery was postponed for many months due to debilitating joint pain. The trial and error of finding effective treatment has been very frustrating. Yet, as we sought spiritual healing, it came through the way of helping others in their journey.

Puerto Rico Update
puerto_rico_flag.jpg

Our trip to Puerto Rico last year with Pastor Josiah Centeno & In The Light Camden consisted of the theme serve, supply and support. In Victoria, we were able to serve in many capacities for a mother and daughter that did not qualify for FEMA assistance. Their home sustained damage from 3 feet of water. The team went to work cleaning, painting and repairing the home and yard. It was a joy to serve again with our great friends, Mike & Susie Dempsey!

In Aguadilla, Mayor Carlos Mendex Martinex invited us to his office. It was a blessing to pray with him.

What an honor to rebuild buildings as well as lives!

Mike had the opportunity to go back to Puerto Rico last fall and install a generator at a local church.

Exciting News!

We've been invited by Frank Shelton to serve as Chaplains at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics! Mike's position will be International Evangelism Director. My role will be International Director of Prayer and Worship. We are excited to reveal and cheer on the true star of the XXXII Olympiad - JESUS CHRIST! We are enlisting prayer warriors as all eyes will be focused on this historic global event.

We are partnering again with Mike & Susie Dempsey scouting out possible relief efforts in the Bahamas due to the devastating category 5 Hurricane Dorian. We will keep you posted.

Spring 2018

Trinidad Update

The year started with an extended stay in Trinidad this past January. It was a trip filled with many connections, some new and some old. Mike again, met with the Men's Group from Everlasting Gospel Church and ministered with them in the marketplace of Chaguanas. In the dirty, dark back alleys, he was able to feed the homeless and lead one to Christ.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Pastor Claude Khan of Anapausis Church. After hearing Mike's testimony, he asked him to speak at the Sunday service. We are in prayer waiting on God for direction in working together to build His Kingdom.

Mike was one of three that were asked to speak at a public school. The other two were a Hindu & a Muslim.  Mike spoke about the love of Christ and was the only one asked back to speak the following day!

In February, Mike was the guest speaker for the New Castle County Association of Evangelicals (NCCAE) Prayer Breakfast. We also ministered at In the Light Camden in New Jersey while Pastors Josiah & Marlaina Centeno were out of town. We were in awe of how the Holy Spirit touched hearts.

Our home "mission" trip of Via Dolorosa in March presented the powerful gospel message of the passion of Christ to a record 1,100 people from 5 states. We were part of a cast of 100 and this year marked the 15th anniversary of the life changing drama at Immanuel Church.

Upcoming Events

Winter  2017

Trinidad Update

We are back from 8 days in Trinidad and wanted to share what has been happening. We were prompted to bring our good friends Mike & Susie Dempsey with us to scout out some new ministry opportunities. The Dempseys served in Peru on the Amazon River system for 18 years bringing medical aid and Jesus to thousands of people. We are excited to see the Lord connecting hearts to meet the desperate needs of hurting people now in Trinidad. We have made connections with a doctor who has been working with the southern part of the island that has been devastated by record breaking floods.
Will you partner with us as we pursue housing for future ministry in that region?

Mike also had the privilege to participate in the baptisms of 12 new members of the body of Christ. It was amazing to see the shoreline filled with loved ones along with church members singing praises to the Lord as each one walked into the cleansing waters.

Upcoming Events

We are looking forward to spending an extended amount of time in Trinidad to find housing in January.

Summer 2017

  France Update

eiffel_tower_spring.jpg

We recently returned from France to ignite passion into discouraged & desperate pastors and leaders.  We brought our friend and special guest, Evangelist Frank Shelton and his wife Ruth.  Frank is the Regional Director for The Billy Graham Association.  We were excited to go encourage and equip a nation hurting for the Gospel.  Here is Pastor Cyril's testimony:

In summer 2017, we invited Mike and Lisa Neifert (Grow in Faith Ministries) to come teach and encourage our congregation.  It must have been on God's agenda to bless us because they came with Frank Shelton and his wife, who also blessed us with a remarkable evangelistic ministry. Our church has around 80 people and 45 kids, located in the Paris suburban area.  The spiritual ambiance in France is very heavy as France rejected God a long time ago.  In this context, Grow in Faith is, and has always been, a real encouragement to our church.  We have known Grow in Faith for 5 years now and we were amazed to witness the steadiness and growth of Mike and Lisa's ministry.  We are a multi-national congregation and Mike and Lisa could relate and reach each one of our people.  Along with the ability to speak to the crowd, Grow in Faith has a tremendous "one on one" ministry.  As the pastor, I saw them reaching and loving one soul at the time, starting with both my wife and I as a pastoral couple.  As for an anointing, it first starts with the head that is us, before it runs on the body, our church. This year 2017, many souls were touched, hearts were mended, and for some, paths were straightened as the precious name of Jesus was lifted high. They met with several local French pastors and the Church Federation representative in order to encourage and unify the body of Christ. Among these leaders, they met with Jacques Buchhold, former dean of the renown French Faculty of Evangelical Theology located in Vaux Sur Seine.  Jaques is a theologian, specialized in teaching Greek and the New Testament.  Having known him for 12 years, the word that best summarized his work for the kingdom is "excellence".  As Professor Buchhold invited us to lunch, I witnessed Mike ministering prophetically to a waitress and a waiter in the restaurant.  As the waitress heard the translated words of knowledge and encouragement from brother Mike, tears filled her eyes and a big smile illuminated her face.  She opened up to us and was enthusiastic about coming to our church to hear more of the gospel!  Within the next minutes, it was the waiter who came to us and told us that he had an issue with pain in his finger.  I was sad for him as he told us that he was a guitarist and that this pain bothered him quite often.  My friends Lisa and Mike relentlessly prayed for him to be healed and be blessed with the good news of Jesus, I believe he is well now.  It was a huge encouragement for us as we could see that seeds were sown with love and power effortlessly. As Professor Buchhold was giving us a tour of the faculty facilities, he asked if Mike would write his testimony of his encounter with Christ so that it could be included in a book he is writing about the miracles Jesus is still doing today.  I was astonished because I thought that Professor Buchhold did not believe in miracles for our times!  I was filled with joy because for me, it was two worlds merging; theology striving for excellence and the mighty works of the Holy Spirit coming together. But what touched us the most, besides Mike and Lisa's love, is their amazing faith and passion for an awesome, powerful, loving, righteous God.  They inspired all of us and made us want to experience and manifest the kingdom of God on earth.  I can say that even if the enemy is at work in France, he is now losing ground.  We are looking forward to more opportunities to serve alongside with Grow In Faith Ministries and are expecting more moves of God, as our Father in heaven takes pleasure and delights in seeing the brothers getting together and work in His fields.    Cyril

We also participated in the follow-up meeting with the French team from Pastor Cyril's church regarding their first missions trip to India.  They are planning to return in October.

        Trinidad Update

We ministered at a 3 day Crusade held in a in a Hindu neighborhood called Helltown in April.  About 300 were present as the Word of God was preached and testimonies were given to God's healing of not only marriages but physical healings as well. God moved on the heart of the homeowner to donate 4 lots of land for the development of a future church or ministry hub!

We will be hosting Pastor Simon and his family for a week August 22 and sharing future steps for Trinidad.

2016 Ministry Update

God released outrageous wonders both locally and internationally.  Locally, Mike spoke at the New Castle County Association of Evangelicals Prayer Breakfast and at the Delaware House of Prayer in Wilmington. We then experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we led the Immanuel Church's Young Adult Retreat in April.

Internationally, we had the opportunity in July to minister in Trinidad and September followed with a Pastors Conference in Pakistan.  Mike witnessed a miracle as a pastor was healed of a terminal brain tumor that was hemorrhaging and caused him to be deaf in his left ear.  The pastor had the complete healing verified by doctors the next day.  More healings and salvation took place as 2 additional trips into Trinidad took place in October and January 2017.  We are excited to start this new season with many opportunities.  We hope that you will partner with us as we expand our ministry horizons.

Trinidad  Update

Last year, the Lord opened a door to the nation of Trinidad which is the southernmost island in the Caribbean.  The people are comprised of about forty percent African, forty percent East Indian, and the remainder being of European, Chinese, or mixed descent.  The total population is 1,300,000.

Here's a snapshot of what happen.

  • 1st trip in July, we heard the call to the people of the islands as we ministered in a local church in Trinidad.
  • 2nd trip in October, we were processing & pursuing what that call would look like as relationships were strengthened and ministry opportunities expanded.
  • 3rd trip in January the call was confirmed with much favor among the nationals with a hunger for more of God followed by signs and wonders.

Upcoming Events

We are excited to lead the Young Adults of Immanuel Church on retreat at camp Tel Hai on March 24th -26th.

We will again be participating in our local church outreach of Via Dolorosa April 10th - 14th to bring the Gospel to our city of Wilmington.

Another trip in April to Trinidad is scheduled, details to follow.

We are looking forward to our 2nd trip into Pakistan in the fall and trusting the Lord for the resources.
